Project selection and funding eligibility
Selection and assessment of applications
Seven steps
Biomedical research institutes including university medical centres select from high potential research projects. Health charities may participate in the consortium.
Selected projects are transferred into spin-off companies.
Research institute partners commit to co-funding.
Human+ is invited to co-fund the new company.
If the project fulfils the Human+ requirements, EATRIS* performs technical and translational feasibility assessments including the likelihood of reimbursement by health insurers.
If the assessments and successive investment decision are positive, Human+ commits to the spin-off company.
Together with the co-funders, Human+ ensures inclusion of the research expertise and appropriate company management from the start.
